It’s been a long time I haven’t watch hindi movies esp. a family themes one. d last one is Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gam. Last night I watched Baghban. At first, I’m not interested (at all) to watch d movie bcoz of d main actor n actress. They are veteran stars!. (I’m a bit choosy in selecting which movie I suit most) But farah insist of watching dat movie…

Our midnight movie started at 2400 (after watching Chameli – arghh, what a boring kareena’s movie). Back to Baghban, the storyline starts with a very ‘sweet’ and joyful life of a family. At the end of 1st CD, the sadness parts began. At that moment till the end of d movie, both of us cried like what! honestly, dis is d 1st time I cried very badly watching hindi movies…

d moral from the story is :

For parents : don’t pamper your children too much! don’t give everything to them when they’re big enough to think and earn money for living. (in d case of baghban ; d father gave all his 40 years working savings 50000 rupee to fulfil his son’ desire to buy car – dis is too much!)

For children : don’t treat them like strangers! esp. when u r married. Never burden them with ur problem. Try to solve it yourself.
In baghban, when d father retired, dis couple decided to stay with d children (4 of them). but d children came up with an idea of separating their parent, hoping dat their parent won’t agree with d idea. At first, yes! d father didn’t agree but d mother insist of going to d children’s house. d father had to agree with d mother. It’s very painful for a couple, living together for 40 years to be separated by their own children. Stupid children!! I’m sure u can figure out yourself what had happened to both of them during dis separation…

I rated dis movie 4.5 out of 5.0
(my assessment is totally based on what I valued from d movie not d technical aspects of it)
A must see movie – suitable for all ages since we are all children and will become father n mother one day…. :) (hopefully!)

donno y this few days..
kepala pusing..
ntah apa yg x btulll..
stelah buat kajian rambang..

i identified few factors that might cause my headache :

1. weather : sometimes it rains sometimes sunny and cold almost all the time and it's getting colder n colder (c'mon this is uk! nak panas...balik m'sia! hihi)
2. seminar : just finished a 5 min seminar on policy issues in food chain..a 5 min seminar consumed 5 hours brainstormed and discussion!
3. assignment : got 4 assignments. need lots of time reading books n journals..
4. computer : almost every day n night facing com.
5. my room's light : a neon type light - i prefer pendaflour - sakit mata wooooo!
6. a sleep n awake syndrom : slept at 1.00 but donno y i awaked 2-3 times before dawn

if anybody out there can help me to solve my prob..do call me @ +4477********* hihi just kiddin'

haaa it's weekend again!!

i've planned to go to a very special destination in UK. Where??? as for now, i keep it as secret...

Aku tak berniat untuk memalukan atau mengomen sesape..

n be proud n thankful to be Malaysian...where english has been taught since we were kids...(walopun my english isn't good enough..)

CASE 1

Main subject : Journey to UK

Location : Kitchen

In this case...aku hanya pendengar..n penjampuk

A : How long does it take from your country to UK?
B : 4 days
A : What? 4 days? U came here by ship or what?
B : Wait a moment. I think I misunderstood that.
A : OK then...(A gave B time to think..)
B : Haaa..it's 4 hours
A : OoooOooo OK....

By d time A finish talking, everyone in the kitchen starts laughing.....(I pity B sooo much!)


CASE 2

Main subject : Prawn/Shrimp

Location : Kitchen

This conversation is between me and one asian girl.

Di suatu petang yg dingin..perutku berkecorong..lalu ku bukak peti ais ...
tiba2 sorang budak bukak d other fridge.....aku nampak mcm udang berkulit jee (frozen one)...tapi x sure pasal biasanya udang yg dijual dah dibuang kulit.....to confirm, aku pun bertanya...

Me : What is this? Is this prawn?
Girl : Hemm...I don't know. My mother gave me this...
Me : ??? U know prawn?..somethin' like this n like that...it is seafood..came from the sea..i try to describe prawn 'sesungguh hati'
Girl : Yeah..yeah ur right...I lived nearby the sea....That's why my mom post this...

Aku bingung sketika....

Bila aku fikirkan balik...
bersyukurlah smua dilahirkan di bumi malaysia yg serba bagus..
baik dari english nya...n jugak financial allocation for education (e.g : loans n scholarships).
kat sini...most of the students (esp. postgrads) r using their own money...
imagine kalo aku kat sini guna duit sendiri....wallahua'alam

yahoooo! it's weekend! i looooveee weekend...i'm going to woking tomorrow...

hihi jgn salah faham ya..
aku tak reti nak ngajo english..
aku sbenonye yg kena blajo english...hihi

bermula ari ni n 3 ari onwards ada registration for english courses. yg beshnye...it's FREE!
ini pluang masyarakat luar yg blajo ke sini utk improve english. termasuklah aku hihi.

ada 3 courses aku amik n under 3 different conditions :

1. grammar revision : dinasihatkan amik (hihi...based on result english test...'senget' sungguh grammar aku rupanya...hihi)
2. essay writing : wajib amik (special for SoMgmt students)
3. academic writing n note taking : sesuka ati aku nak amik...hihi...tambah kemahiran...slain drp kmahiran menaip waktu chit chat n reply email...kuang kuang)

ada banyak lagik courses lain yg menarik...tapi x kuasa nak memberatkan otak...hihi (may be next sem aku amik). these are few other courses offers :

nampaknye...itu aje buat masa nih...lepas ni aku ada english class...bye2

tapi..
penggunaan kad bagi memudahkan segala macam urusan..
kad2 yg dikira penting di sini...

• student card : ini wajib laa...kat mana2 univ. pun ada..tapi gambo lam kad ni..tak lawa sungguh!!..masa snap makcik library tu tak kire 1-2-3 pun..hihi
• photocopy card : ini khas utk budak2 mgmt je...free £1..slebihnye...kena top up...
• ntl card : ada 2 jenis : rechargable n nonrechargable - yg rechargable : hanya bleh di top up bile dah ada akaun bank. Kegunaan : utk menalipon n menggunakan internet di dalam bilik tidur sahaja...hihi
• telco_asia card : Kegunaan - kad diskaun utk access mana2 mobile fon. no. Boleh didapati samada £5,£10,£20. Tapi, nak lagik murah..dapatkan yg £10 for 3 (utk £5 card)
• rail card : utk dpt diskaun menggunakan train...kena apply this one..bayaran : £20 (aku blom buat lagi)
• debit card : org sini x suke bwk cash money. alt. nye..depa bwk debit kad. segala expenses akan difoton directly dr acc. bank...n even yuran asrama pun kena byr guna mende alah ni...'no cash plzz'
• credit card : biasalaa nih..kat mesia pun org pakai. tapi yg klakornye...student pun leh pakai credit card???...pelik....
• card2 shopping complex : ni kat mesia pun banyak...

itu je kot yg biasa ku dengar..kalo ade lagi kad2 len..akan aku update..
